Negotiations Update 2012/04/19

To All United Dispatchers:

Today PAFCA and TWU rejected the Company’s proposed framework for an expedited joint collective bargaining agreement (attached). That framework would have provided compensation and benefits, based largely on current Delta pay rates and annual work hours (1880), and included average annual wage increases of 10% for sCO dispatchers and 17% for sUA dispatchers over the term of the agreement. It also would have harmonized work rules based largely on the current sCO-TWU CBA.

With that expedited framework proposal now off the table, it is unfortunate but inescapable that negotiations will now continue with our focus on achieving competitive and industry-standard pay rates and work rules. We expect this will be a long and difficult process, and we will provide additional updates as things progress.
