Pilots at both the United and Continental subsidiary are represented by the Airline Pilots Association (ALPA). Negotiations for a joint contract are currently ongoing.

ALPA presented a comprehensive Scheduling proposal covering Sections 5, 20 and 22 on Wednesday evening in Denver. Subject matter experts met and discussed different aspects of the proposal on Thursday. Additional discussions will be held next week in Denver as the parties continue to try to narrow the remaining issues in these sections.
We also reached an agreement in principle on the extension of the Transition and Process Agreement this week. The respective MECs will review it over the next few weeks.
