  • The current PAFCA collective bargaining agreement becomes amendable on January 1, 2010. Current contract terms remain in effect throughout negotiations.
  • Negotiations with PAFCA began on April 10, approximately nine months before the current CBA becomes amendable.

The Company and the Association have held 11 negotiation sessions since our last update on April 28th. During these sessions the parties have reached Tentative Agreement on Sections 10 (Safety & Health), 11 (Dispciline), 18 (Mergers & Acquisitions) and 20 (Saving Clause) at current book. The parties have also reached negotiated Tentative Agreements on Sections 2 (Classifications and Eligibility), 6 (Filling of Vacancies), 7 (Leaves of Absence), 12 (Bargaining and Grievance Procedures), 13 (General), 15 (Union Security) and 17 (Professional Standards). We are scheduled to meet again in late August and the Association intends on passing a comprehenive proposal covering the remaining open Sections of the Agreement.


PAFCA Negotiations Updates: Archive
